I dati dimostrano che solo la medicina generale può gestire il percorso del paziente cronico
Si è tenuta ieri la conferenza stampa dell’assessore al Welfare di Regione Lombardia, Giulio Gallera, sullo stato di avanzamento della presa in carico dei pazienti cronici.
Dal 15 gennaio al 15 maggio sono stati invitati i pazienti cronici a scegliere un “gestore” per organizzare il proprio percorso di cura.
I pazienti hanno scelto come gestore il proprio MMG quando era possibile: su 257.998 pazienti che a ieri hanno accettato di aderire alla proposta regionale 217.865 hanno scelto come gestore il proprio MMG: non c’è storia!! Laddove la medicina generale è organizzata risponde prontamente e con competenza organizzandosi in cooperative.
Si può dire che la presa in carico sia partita da metà marzo, data in cui si hanno i primi PAI (piani assistenziali individuali previsti dal piano nazionale della cronicità e contrattualizzati anche economicamente nell’accordo regionale sottoscritto da Fimmg e Snami), ora si cresce con oltre 1000 PAI al giorno, numeri ancora non importanti ma in crescita esponenziale.
Esistono sicuramente criticità che vanno affrontate, come per esempio la creazione del centro servizi in house alla medicina generale o l’attuazione degli accordi sulle prenotazioni da contrattualizzare con tutta la filiera degli erogatori sia pubblici che privati.
La presenza di un numero importante di MMG prossimi alla pensione, unita al ridotto numero di medici inseriti nella scuola di formazione specifica in Medicina generale non sufficiente a coprire il fabbisogno, non migliora peraltro la situazione. Come FIMMG regionale siamo impegnati ad aumentare il numero delle borse del Corso di formazione che sono solo 160.
