3 milgioni gli "Esodati" della Long term, il Ssn copre il 25% della domanda di cure
La stima è di quelle da far tremare i polsi: se un milione di pazienti bisognosi di cure a lungo termine trovano oggi risposte nel Servizio sanitario nazionale - tra Adi, hospice e Rsa - quelli che restano a spasso si stima siano decisamente la maggioranza. «Altri 3 milioni di pazienti non sono gestiti dal Sistema sanitario nazionale. Alcuni di loro possono permettersi un’assistenza privata - una badante o un infermiere - ma è facile immaginare che molte di queste persone gravino pesantemente sui familiari o su altri caregiver di fortuna e che quindi rappresentino veri e propri “esodati della Sanità”», lancia l’allarme Roberto Bernabei, presidente di Italia Longeva, che a Roma al ministero della Salute ha aperto l’evento “Long Term Care One”, una due giorni che oggi e domani sarà l’occasione per fare il punto anche sui documenti programmatici del ministero. Dal Piano nazionale della prevenzione al Piano nazionale cronicità fino al Patto per la Sanità digitale, appena approvato dalla Conferenza Stato-Regioni.
