Scotti: i medici devono essere riconosciuti come pubblici ufficiali
Una dottoressa e due equipaggi del 118 sono stati aggrediti da parenti e amici di due persone coinvolte, venerdì sera, in un incidente in motorino al centro di Napoli. I fatti si sono svolti intorno alle 23, in piazza VII settembre, vicino piazza del Gesù. Dopo l'allerta alla centrale del 118 è accorsa l'ambulanza della postazione Ponticelli che ha impiegato circa 18 minuti, (15 dalla partenza) nei limiti previsti dal servizio. All'arrivo del mezzo sono subito iniziati gli insulti, gli strattoni e poi calci, pugni e sputi da parte di una quindicina di persone (molte donne), che hanno colpito alle spalle la dottoressa, china a terra per prestare i soccorsi alla donna vittima dell'incidente. Un vergognoso e vile pestaggio per il presunto ritardo nell'intervento.
Silvestro Scotti, presidente dell'Ordine dei medici torna a invocare l'intervento della politica. I medici vanno riconosciuti come pubblici ufficiali dimodoché le aggressioni contro di loro si configurino come interruzione di pubblico servizio con violenze e perseguibili d'ufficio. «Sono queste precondizioni, dice Scott,i che azzerano le aggressioni alle forze dell'Ordine».
